Navan Travellers Education Centre

Some years ago Third Age began working with some female members of Navan Travellers Education Centre in a project funded by the Equality for Older Women Measure. This led to a growing relationship between ourselves as the Traveller group who began taking part in other Third Age activities including our choir, art and drama, socials, outings and holidays. Third Age also held a number of health initiatives for Travellers in the Education Centre. Over the years, warm bonds of friendship have developed between ourselves and our Traveller members which we cherish.
