The rural nature of our community, lack of local transport, the age and health status of many of our members can increase the reality of social isolation and exclusion. In this context, the Third Age Bus and People Carrier is a vital link. Our Bus carries 14 passengers and a wheelchair, and our People Carrier can accommodate up to eight passengers. To book, telephone 046 955 7750 between 9am – 5pm

Drop-in centre

Third Age acts as a drop in centre, where members can call in at any time. Tea, coffee, biscuits and company are always available. Located in the Primary Care Centre and beside the GP surgery, members who attend appointments fasting are welcome to call in afterwards for breakfast.

Third Age operates a book, CD and video library for members. Many of our books have been donated by the County Library in Trim and we thank them for this service.
