Volunteer with Seniorline

Volunteer with Seniorline

Seniorline is a not-for-profit national charity and our volunteers are the foundation and lifeblood of the project. As Seniorline is a peer-to-peer service, a national confidential listening service for older people provided by trained older volunteers, most volunteers are aged over sixty, while we have a number of volunteers in their fifties also.

Each volunteer gives a minimum of three hours once every three weeks and this contributes to our overall service provision, 10am to 10pm, 365 days a year including Christmas Day.

We offer full and ongoing training and support to all our volunteers.

Programme Development

Committed to finding new, creative responses to the myriad needs of Ireland’s growing older population, we believe in evidence-based solutions through collaboration with industry, universities and research bodies.
